We’re having a Crafty Thanksgiving!
The residents at the Doolittle Home and Margie’s Daycare worked together to make Thanksgiving placemats and ate freshly made cookies. As the children said goodbye, they surprised us with homemade Thanksgiving cards.

Does anyone remember when the Doolittle Home Recipe Book was created?” The recipes contained are still being used today and we are told they are delicious. In honor of Thanksgiving cooking coming up. Please share your favorite recipe from the book.

Doolittle thanks firefighters on National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend
The Doolittle took the opportunity to drop off homemade cookies in honor of The 37th Annual National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend!

We beat our goal to help the Alzheimer’s Association
Doolittle Home employees exceeded our support goal and raised $625.00 for the Alzheimer’s Association, 5K Walk to END Alzheimer’s, hosted by @patriotsplace. We extend our appreciation to those who donated in support of our Team for such an important topic affecting seniors.

Thursday August 8th we celebrated Barbara’s dedication and service to the Home as she retires. She has been employed at Doolittle for just under 20 years. We will miss her and wish her a happy retirement!
