Pictures from Sunday Afternoon in the Park

Music in the ParkMusic in the ParkStardust Saxophone QuartetSunday, May 17th proved to be a perfect spring day for an afternoon of family, friends and music in The Doolittle Home’s private park. The Stardust Saxophone Quartet entertained residents and visitors alike with songs from the early 1900’s to the themes from Toy Story and The Muppets, a few Beatles classics and more. Add ballons, bubbles, cookies and punch, what more do you need on a lovely day?

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Foxboro Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.

MUSIC IN THE PARK, SUNDAY, MAY 17

IMG_0966Residents, family and friends of all ages are invited to an afternoon of music and refreshments in The Doolittle Home’s private park. Featuring music by the Stardust Saxophone Quartet, the entertainment will commence at 2 pm. Bring a folding chair or a blanket, your dancing or tapping shoes and get ready for an old fashioned afternoon of fun. Balloons and a bubble machine, cookies and punch will engage youngsters and adults alike.

The Doolittle Home is celebrating “A Century of Caring” and has events planned throughout the year welcoming the community into the home and grounds.
